Job Description

The Box Office and Administrative Assistant is a part-time position that supports the ticketing and customer service functions of Los Angeles Ballet, and provides administrative support to office staff. Responsibilities are performed under the supervision of the Executive Director, Director of Sales, and other administrative staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Sell tickets and subscriptions, mostly by phone, and assist customers with any ticket-related needs
- Provide occasional box office & administrative support during performances
- Act as first point-of-contact for guests at LAB Center
- Provide administrative support for all staff
- Contribute to smooth administrative office operations including answering the main phone line, responding to general email inquiries, filing, managing calendars, ordering office supplies, and communicating across all departments
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned depending on skill set

Skills & Qualifications

- Possess strong communication, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to perform well under stressful conditions, to problem-solve, work with minimal supervision, and prioritize workload
- Ability to work evenings and weekends on occasion for performances
- Knowledge of Word and Excel mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service and office support experience
- Knowledge of online ticketing systems preferred

Vehicle and valid driver’s license are required
