David Kordansky Gallery, Los Angeles is seeking an executive assistant to work with the owner and directors.

The executive assistant position is a full-time position, Tuesday through Saturday. Applicant must be flexible and available to work outside of designated days on an as-needed basis.

Candidate must have prior experience working as a personal or executive assistant. He or she must be exceptionally organized with a keen attention to detail. He or she should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The executive assistant will mainly work out of the gallery and on occasion from the owner's home. Applicant must be comfortable with young children and dogs. He or she must have a valid driver's license and a reliable mode of transportation.

Responsibilities:

-Drafting professional, eloquent emails
-Maintaining owner and directors' personal and gallery calendars
-Sorting and processing mail
-Scheduling appointments, studio visits, and meetings
-Arranging restaurant reservations
-Coordinating domestic / international travel
-Running various personal errands for the owner

Qualifications:

-Prior experience as a personal or executive assistant
-College degree or higher
-Expert at prompt and efficient communication
-Familiarity with contemporary art world and names of collectors, museum curators, critics, etc. preferred
-Prior experience writing about art preferred
-Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy
-Exceptional organizational and note-taking skills
-Calm, composed demeanor
-Ability to work well under pressure
-Proficient in MS Office, Filemaker Pro, Google Calendar, and Google Drive
-Valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation

Salary commensurate with experience.
