BUSD PARENT INVOLVEMENT CHALLENGE

Our District Parent Advisory Committees have joined together to promote more parent participation and involvement in our school events and instructional program. The Parent Involvement Challenge is simple: Encourage parents to attend and participate in as many school-related activities as possible. As parents participate in their child's parent conference, volunteer in their classroom, attend their assemblies and performances, attend PTA, SSC or other special meetings, etc. they will be asking school officials to verify their attendance. In May the parent(s) with the greatest involvement will be recognized and honored for their commitment to their child's educational development at a special school site event!
