DONOR RELATIONS MANAGER

The California Art Club seeks a dynamic, experienced and detail-oriented individual for the 
position of Donor Relations Manager in our Pasadena, California office. The Donor Relations 
Manager works with the Chief Operating Officer to create opportunities that promote the 
highest standard of traditional fine art, increase membership and generate financial support for 
this century-old art organization. 

The Donor Relations Manager’s primary responsibility is to cultivate, steward and expand high-
level relationships in three key areas – Collectors’ Circle (an exclusive category of membership 
for art patrons); Signature Artists Membership (comprised of national renowned artists); and 
corporate and foundation funders. In addition, the Donor Relations Manager provides 
professional support in grant writing, proposal development and administration. 

The ideal candidate must possess excellent writing and communication skills. She/He must have 
the ability to manage committees and work as part of a small office team. This person must be 
self-motivated, organized and creative with a deep interest in promoting traditional fine art. 
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years in the development/fundraising field is 
required. A master’s degree, preferably in Arts Management or combined degrees in Art 
History and Business Management, is a plus.
