Job Description: Partnership and Projects Manager

CreativeFuture, a 501(c)(6) nonprofit advocacy coalition for the creative community, seeks a Partnership and Projects Manager. Under the leadership of the Vice President of Youth Outreach, the Partnership and Projects Manager will organize and execute events supporting youth outreach efforts as well as manage key stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

Under the leadership of the Youth Outreach Director, with guidance from the COO and the CEO, support the overall youth outreach strategy and “Contribute to Creativity” campaign.

Oversee day-to-day interactions with a key CreativeFuture (CF) partner – education nonprofit iKeepSafe – and their Education Fellow

Manage communications with and support CF’s university allies

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local private schools and universities, including programming events and ongoing student and faculty outreach

Oversee planning and implementation of youth outreach events with key stakeholders

Develop external communications materials for key youth outreach audiences

Maintain regular communication with nationwide local chapters of CF partner IATSE, keeping local chapters updated on CF activities and identifying possible areas of partnership for outreach

Continue to identify new potential partners to support our youth outreach initiatives

Maintain specific youth outreach online presence (blog postings, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and the creation of content to support youth-targeted campaigns for a variety of audiences, including K-12 and university students, teachers, and parents

Oversee content collection and updating of  “Contribute to Creativity” page on CF website

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Strong written and verbal communications skills

·         Experience with project management or producing events or content

·         Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders preferably both nonprofit and for-profit

·         Skilled at project conception and execution with minimal oversight or management

·         High level of motivation, initiative, and attention to detail

·         Pluses: experience in education, the entertainment industry, and knowledge of copyright and related issues

Salary and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid vacation.
