The John F. REQUESTS FOR CONTRACT PROPOSALS 
2015–2016

Proposal Submission Deadline: February 25, 2015 at 11:59 pm (Eastern Standard Time)

1. VSA Arts Connect All – Professional Development Program
Implement professional development opportunities of 5 or more hours for educators teaching the arts to students with disabilities, ages 3 to 22, pre-kindergarten–grade 12. Serve 50 or more educators of students with disabilities.

2. VSA Arts Connect All – Workshop/Residency Program
Implement school or community arts education workshops and/or residencies of 5 or more instructional hours for students with disabilities, ages 3 to 22, pre-kindergarten–grade 12. Serve 75 or more students with disabilities.

3. VSA Children’s Visual Art Discovery Program
Implement a visual arts education program serving students with disabilities, ages 3 to 22, pre-kindergarten–grade 12. Programs provide 5 or more instructional hours per student with a disability. Serve 75 or more students with disabilities.

4. VSA International Young Soloists: Music for Every Student Program
Implement a music education program serving students with disabilities, ages 3 to 22, pre-kindergarten–grade 12. Programs provide 5 or more instructional hours per student with a disability. Serve 75 or more students with disabilities.

5. VSA Playwright Discovery Program
Implement a scriptwriting program for students with and without disabilities, in middle and high school, grades 6-12.  Programs provide 5 or more instructional hours per student. Serve 75 or more students with disabilities.

6. VSA Rosemary Kennedy Internship Initiative
Implement opportunities for youth with disabilities, age 15 to 22, to participate in arts, arts education, or arts management-based internships or pre-professional apprenticeship or training programs of 40 or more hours. Serve 3 or more students with disabilities.

7. VSA Museum Access for Kids Program
Implement accessible arts experiences with related educational programming for students with disabilities, ages 3 to 22, pre-kindergarten–grade 12. Serve 100 or more students with disabilities.

8. VSA Performing Arts Access for Kids Program
Provide accessible performing arts experiences with related educational programming for students with disabilities, ages 3 to 22. Serve 100 or more students with disabilities.

 

Eligible and qualified organizations are required to submit contract proposals via the downloaded Request for Contract Proposal forms. The Kennedy Center will accept one contract proposal per organization for each RFP.

Notification: Selected recipients will be notified on a rolling basis or by May 29, 2015.
