On October 1, 2008 Arts for LA presented the following policy platform to over 200 arts, civic and education leaders.  

The eleven goals focus on what we (the arts and arts education community) want from our elected officials.  Some goals are very specific, while others are by design created to help strengthen the investment by policy makers with arts, culture and arts education.  

The feedback we have received thus far indicates that we are indeed on the right track.  We are now in the process of culling the suggestions created by the 8 working groups on October 11th.  

In the meantime, we invite you to contribute to the components needed for each goal to be acheived. Specifically, we are looking for input on:

• What (if any) additional information is needed.
• Identification of individuals, networks or organizations.
• Key entities to spearhead goal.
• Proposed actions, benchmarks and timeline.
