Marymount California University challenges students to pursue lives of leadership and service. The

The Arts & Media division at Marymount California University is seeking qualified
candidates for an adjunct faculty position in History of Multimedia to begin in fall 2016 at
our Waterfront campus in San Pedro, CA. We encourage all qualified applicants to apply for
consideration. Course History of Multimedia will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:15pm-9:30pm,
August 23, 2016 through December 9, 2016.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

An MFA or PhD in a related field, or significant professional experience required

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to teach the history of how
traditional forms of media including radio, film, photography, and television evolved
into new digital forms of media. Theories and concepts within film, animation,
design, and interactivity are explored.
