Position Getty Foundation 2016 Multicultural Undergraduate Internship – Education Internship @ ESMoA

ESMoA is currently seeking an undergraduate student to participate in the Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Internship Program for summer, 2016.

About the Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Internship: With the goal of increased diversity in the arts, this internship opportunity is intended for groups underrepresented in the professions related to museums and the visual arts. Individuals of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American and Pacific Islander descent are encouraged to apply.

Job Description: ESMoA seeks internship candidates who wish to broaden their educational and professional experience by providing administrative and teaching support for “Summer Camp @ ESMoA,” an Arts Education program for high school juniors and seniors held at the ESMoA arts laboratory in El Segundo. The ESMoA Internship Program has been designed to guide interns in developing important skills and knowledge as they work closely with ESMoA Education Specialists in developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating this museum-based educational program. The Summer Camp Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience that will empower him or her to follow any number of possible professional paths within a non-profit arts institution.
