We are pleased to welcome new staff member Charlie Jensen to the Arts for LA team.

Charlie recently relocated to Los Angeles to serve as Arts for LA’s Development & Communications Manager. He takes over from Camille Schenkkan, who grew the position into a robust portfolio including communications, event management and development. Arts for LA is grateful for Camille’s hard work and dedication to the team over the last four years. We send her our best wishes as the new Educational Programs Manager at Center Theatre Group.

Charlie previously worked with arts nonprofits in Phoenix, Tucson, and Washington, DC, and serves on the Emerging Leader Council of American for the Arts. At Arts for LA, he will coordinate web site content, provide writing expertise to the team and support the organization’s fundraising efforts. A frequent visitor to LA, Charlie is thrilled to finally get to know the city as a resident and become more involved with the vibrant arts communities around town.

“Arts for LA is so excited to be working with Charlie,” says Danielle Brazell, Executive Director. “The applicant pool for the position was especially strong and competitive, but Charlie’s strengths in communication were the best fit with Arts for LA’s needs.”
