Discover why Esquire named him one of the most influential people of the 21st century, TIME magazine named him one of the best Twitter feeds, and Forbes called him the “Steve Jobs of academia.”

Maeda recently left his position as President of Rhode Island School of Design where he led the movement to transform STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education to STEAM by adding Art and helped the university rank as the #1 design school in the world by Business Insider. Maeda is now a designer for venture capital firm Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield, and Byers. He is also the chairman of the brand new eBay Design Advisory Board.
