The City of Inglewood is seeking proposals from web design firms for technical updates and
biannual updates of its public art education website InglewoodPublicArt.org. The selected
contractor will assess the existing multi-page site. recommend a work plan to implement
updates of the web site pages and map and, on approval, perform the work plan. The deadline
to apply is 5:00 p.m. August 31, 2018.

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

The City’s public art education web site launched in 2015 through a City public art initiative and
was implemented by the non-profit CultureNow.org. The City is seeking a consultant to assess
the current site, build on and update the design format, or recommend new approaches to the
web pages. The selected contractor will be working with the City’s Public Art staff and
coordinating with the Information Technology and Communications Department staff to
implement the project.

The selected firm will work in two phases: review the website and develop a work plan to
update the website, create an enhanced downloadable map and, on written approval,
implement the accepted proposal in beta then final mode.

ELIGIBILITY:

This opportunity will be filled through a City Contract for Professional Services. The successful
applicant will be required to sign a municipal contract and obtain a City of Inglewood Business
Tax Identification Number. The contractor will work off site with no more than three site visits.

FUNDING RANGE: $10,000 has been allocated for the first year of services, although cost is not
the sole factor in awarding this contract. The City anticipates offering the contractor a one year
contract with option to renew for two consecutive years.

1. Narrative letter no more than two pages describing your firm, its qualifications, and
experience in designing and updating websites;
2. Resumes or CVs for firm leader and/or team principal; and any subcontractors;
3. Proposed budget detailing cost from start to finish;
4. Links to three sample websites completed since 2014;
5. Three professional references with name, title, phone and affiliation; one must be a
non-profit organization or municipality.
