Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena seeks artists who have experience teaching visual arts to incarcerated youth. Classes will take place in probation camps and juvenile halls throughout LA County. In addition to direct teaching, you will attend scheduled trainings to prepare for successful engagement with this new initiative. 

Qualifications

Teaching experience with incarcerated youth is strongly encouraged. MFA in visual art and knowledge of contemporary practices are preferred.  

Commitment

Class schedules will range from two to four days per week. All classes will meet during the late afternoon, 2-hour blocks.
