Burbank (USD)

The Burbank Arts Education Advocacy team is a group of community stakeholders whose mission is to support the Burbank Unified School District in implementing its Visual and Performing Arts Education Policy and its Strategic Plan. The team is now in part lead by the Burbank Arts for All Foundaion.

The Burbank Arts for All Foundation is the only organization dedicated to ensuring permanent and equal access to a quality arts education for Burbank’s 15,000 students.

The Foundation was founded in 2006 and our goal is to create a $10 million permanent endowment fund which will support arts education in the Burbank Unified School District in four areas: (1) music, (2) visual arts, (3) dance, and (4) drama. The principal will be invested permanently and the income will provide an annual source of funding for the arts.

The Foundation raises and allocates support funds for:
•Arts education programs
•Art supplies & equipment
•Arts education teacher training
•Matching funds for VAPA compliant programs
