Vocal Justice is on a mission to build a community of youth leaders for liberation who use their voices to dismantle the worst of our world and build up the best. They prioritize Black and Brown youth who aren't "high-achieving" academically, since they tend to be overlooked for leadership programs.
This school year, they're training and paying about 30 teachers across 14 states to facilitate their justice-oriented public speaking program at their schools, reaching about 450 young people. And in a year, they secured about $700K in funding. The Program Manager will help them expand their school reach, find ways to bring their work to community organizations, and define the strategy and culture of an early-stage nonprofit.
This is a full-time, remote role. $70K salary. March 2022 start date. Two-year commitment required. No specific degree or years of experienced needed. Healthcare; Unlimited Vacation Days; Professional Development Stipend (up to $1500 per year); Work Equipment Coverage (up to $1500)
