The ACTIVATE Arts Advocacy Leadership Program is a FREE advocacy training and leadership development program. The program recognizes the importance of local leaders and seeks to empower these individuals with the skills, knowledge, and an expanded network to effect change in communities across Greater Los Angeles.

The ACTIVATE program has two tracks: ACTIVATE Delegates and ACTIVATE Innovators. While the format of the two tracks differs, both offer participants the opportunity to learn from the top leaders in social justice, education, cultural infrastructure, advocacy, communication, and policy. See below for more details!

The long-range goal of ACTIVATE is to recruit, train, and mobilize arts advocates in all 81 school districts and 88 municipalities in Los Angeles County in an effort to grow our arts advocacy network and strengthen our collective voice.

Check out this FAQ to learn more about which program - Delegates or Innovators - is a better fit for you. If you have any further questions about the program, please email us at [email protected].
