HOURS PER WEEK: 15 per week / Non-Exempt
RATE: $15/hr


The Corita Art Center preserves and promotes Corita Kent’s art, teaching, and passion for social justice. The CAC is a project of the Immaculate Heart Community and helps fulfill its mission by building relations in society which foster access of all persons to truth, dignity and full human development. The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with the staff of the Corita Art Center to support the CAC’s mission and conduct daily administration functions. Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, fulfilling orders, maintaining inventory, word processing, creating spreadsheets and reports, and filing.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as the primary contact for visitors, guests, and phone and email inquiries
  • Coordinate and file business records and contracts 
  • Fulfill orders, supervise and maintain online and retail gift shop
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Update website and social media 
  • Coordinate mailings, correspondence, and e-blasts 
  • Under the direction of the Collections Manager, assist with collections 
  • Oversee staff and organizational calendars

Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Experience in nonprofit and/or arts administration 
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively 
  • Interest in visual art required

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
