Busy artist studio seeks an organized and professional writer to write relatively short (two to three paragraph) descriptions on multiple series of works. Ideal candidates have a background in art history or writing program, and have experience working in a museum, gallery, or artist studio setting. The position would be freelance, coming in once or twice a week to look at the art and talk the pieces over with the studio manager and artist, and then write about the work. Work will increase if the writing is agreeable with the artist. 

Interested candidates should send over a cover letter, resume, and previous writing samples. Extra attention will be paid to candidates who have published within the last twelve months, but we encourage all candidates to apply.
