The Irvine Fine Art Center's annual juried All Media exhibition showcases artwork from Southern California artists working in a range of media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, video, installation, and more. Each year a different guest juror is invited to select artworks for exhibition and award a first, second, and third place winner. This year's guest juror is artist, curator, and writer Constance Mallinson, whose writings have been featured in Art in America, X-TRA, Fabrik, Artillery, and The Times Quotidian.

Exhibition: September 7 – October 26

Opening reception & Awards Ceremony:

September 7, 4-6 p.m.

Awards presentation: 5 p.m.

Fees: $20 for one entry; each additional entry $12

Awards

One 1st place winner will be awarded $500; one 2nd place winner will be awarded $300, one 3rd place winner will be awarded $200, 3 honorable mentions will be awarded $100 each.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to all artists residing in Southern California. All entries must be original and not show previously at the Irvine Fine Arts Center.

Eligible media includes: painting, photography, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, ceramic, crafts, installation, video and digital art.

PRESENTATION

Installation instructions must be provided with the delivery of artwork or in advance. Work over 60 lbs. must be handled by the artist during installation and removal. The artist is responsible for providing all special or unique display props. Work must be on view for the duration of the exhibition.

JURYING PROCESS

The juror will select the artwork to be shown in the exhibition from the images submitted. Work which does not meet expectations set forth in the images may be withheld from the exhibition at the juror’s discretion. The juror has the sole responsibility for the selection of the artworks with no exceptions. Awards are selected from the accepted entries.
