LOCATION: Los Angeles City Hall - 200 N. Spring St. Los Angeles, CA 90012
Arts Day at Los Angeles City Hall is an annual event dedicated to demonstrating the arts community’s strength, and advocating for issues of importance to our community. The day will begin with a celebration and presentation in City Council Chambers, followed by a lunch reception, and musical performances showcasing uniquely LA talent throughout the day. This year’s keynote speaker will be Ben Sheehan, civic engagement activist, entertainment executive, and author of the upcoming book OMG WTF Does the Constitution Actually Say?
This annual demonstration of LA’s arts community’s power has the goal of advancing access to the arts throughout the city. Entering its ninth year, Arts Day will convene arts advocates, educate them on issues important to our community, and make our voices heard during meetings with City Council offices.
