UCLA Residential Life is hiring an Arts Engagement Coordinator to administer a multidisciplinary student engagement program. Applications will be accepted until January 31, and must be submitted through the UCLA Careers website:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Arts Engagement Coordinator will manage student-focused projects related to co-curricular engagement in the arts.. Incumbent serves as a recognized special resource within the department and to the campus in the area of arts engagement.

Under the direction of the supervisor, the Arts Engagement Coordinator will implement student-focused activities that impact undergraduate and graduate students living in University-owned housing as well as the greater campus community. The Arts Engagement Coordinator will act as a hub for arts-related activities including planning and implementing programs and events, advising student planners, serving on departmental committees, and supporting cross-campus initiatives. In addition, the incumbent will conduct research into related topics, write and present reports, and maintain data related to arts engagement to develop new approaches and methods for enhancing outcomes for students.

The Arts Engagement Coordinator must be able to work independently and with others to manage multiple constituents and multiple priorities. This requires effective skills in planning, organization, coordination, resource allocation, delegation, and adaptability. The ability to advise others and manage several projects requires the understanding of a dynamic environment and changing organizational context. The incumbent will have developed skills to analyze information, identify alternatives, and exercise innovation with ingenuity and resourcefulness in selecting appropriate solutions or directions. 
Residential Life is a Student Affairs department located within On-Campus Housing. Residential Life works closely with Housing and Hospitality Services (HHS) to provide students comfortable and convenient affordable housing and to enhance student opportunities for academic success, community building, personal growth, and leadership development.
