The Organizer will take on responsibility and oversight for all our entertainment outreach, and will be responsible for recruiting and overseeing staff and volunteers.
For more than 40 years, organizations in The Public Interest Network have been taking on powerful interests on behalf of the American public, working to win concrete results for our health and well-being. With a strong staff across the country, we stand up to powerful special interests on issues to promote clean air and water, protect open space, stop identity theft, fight political corruption, stop the overuse of antibiotics on factory farms, and strengthen voting rights. The Organizer will build media visibility and promote our issues with the entertainment industry.
Qualifications
This position is open to organizers with only 1 or 2 cycles of election or campaign experience. Ideal applicants will be excellent writers and communicators, have drive and ambition, are smart and strategic thinkers, are passionate about standing up to special interests, and will be excited by our work and vision.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for this position is commensurate with the relevant professional experience and/or advanced degrees that a candidate has. The Public Interest Network offers a competitive benefits package.
