9:45 am Line up to enter the John Ferraro City Council Chambers, 3rd floor, Room 340
10:00 am Enter the City Council Chambers
10:15 am Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell begins the ArtsDay proclamation & presentation. Performers and speakers include:
- Amy Aquino, Actress
- Judy Baca, Visual and Public Artist; Founder and Artistic Director the Social and Public Art Resource Center SPARC; and Professor UCLA World Arts and Cultures and Chicano Studies
- Bryonn Bain – Artist/Activist & Assistant Professor-in- Residence, UCLA Dept. of African American Studies
- Alex Johnson, Executive Director, Children’s Defense Fund-California (CDF-CA)
- Sofia Klatzker, Executive Director of Arts for LA
