Under the direction of the museum director, the incumbent provides high- level project, office management and organization, financial and administrative analysis to the director's office.

The position is responsible for researching, drafting and preparing memos and correspondences; compiling information and creating presentations for internal/external meetings; assisting with research for various projects; establishing both electronic and manual files; exercising authority to collect and provide information to resolve issues; as well as administrative functions to support the director’s office.

The position supports and responds as directed to incoming verbal and written requests and inquires to the director's office; facilitates communications between director and museum leadership team, including board and committee members; coordinates workflow; researches, drafts, and edits a variety of executive-level correspondence for museum director's use and/or signature.
