The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art is excited to announce a new opening on our Collections Management team, Associate Registrar, Permanent Collection. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in art museum registration. This role will support the Head Registrar in the administration of the museum’s acquisition program including drafting and assisting in the negotiation of purchase agreements and deeds of gift and documenting the condition of incoming acquisition candidates. Additionally, this role will provide support to and coordinate tasks with the Director of Collections Management, Head Registrar, and Curatorial including, but not limited to: creating and managing accession tracking documents, providing updates to other museum staff on new acquisitions, ordering relevant supplies, manage receiving and documentation of new acquisitions at the museum’s off-site fine arts storage facility.
