Audition: Wallis Studio Ensemble

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts

Beverly Hills / Remote

The Studio Ensemble is open to non-union actors aged 20 to 28.

This is a 10 month commitment for actors in the earlier stages of their careers, providing a home base and artistic community of peers, as actors build a professional portfolio in L.A.

The Studio Ensemble’s mission is to create innovative and visceral theatre that serves as a galvanizing force for social change, whilst meeting the highest standards of artistic excellence. We are committed to developing new works for under- represented artists, and to reimagine and adapt existing works for the contemporary stage.

C2A (Call to Action): In addition to performance work, weekly physical training and devising, our C2A initiative is a year-round commitment to identify important social, cultural and political issues, and build partnerships with non-profit or activist organizations, in order to highlight and support the work they are doing.

The Studio Ensemble is a training-based company – meaning we have an ongoing commitment to physical training, and keeping up with developing trends in contemporary theatre.

The company is led by Artistic Director Madeleine Dahm, and produced by GRoW at the Wallis.
