Opportunity: Call for Qualified Mural Artists: Dana Point -La Plaza Tower

California artist and artists willing to travel to Dana Point are invited to apply

Raintree Partners corporate office is located in the La Plaza building in Dana Point, CA.  Raintree Partners wishes to commission a talented artist or group of artists to create a wall mural on the exterior tower of the building which will be viewed publicly from Pacific Coast Highway where more than 40,000 cars passing by the proposed mural location daily. Raintree Partners is passionate about art that engages both the residents of and visitors to Dana Point. 

While there is not a specific theme for this commission, the mural should be interesting, engaging, and a bit funky. Creating something that is culturally relevant to the City of Dana Point should be considered. Since the tower is visible from the highway, creating a mural that is eye catching will be of great interest to the owner. The design will need to be suitable and acceptable for public viewing of all ages and will need to be reviewed and accepted by Raintree Partners.  

Project Summary

Where: 34052 La Plaza Drive, Dana Point, CA 92629

What: Mural to be on two sides of the tower: South approx. 20’ wide x 29’tall & East 24’ wide x 29’ tall.

How much? Project budget not to exceed $15,000. Owner to provide scaffold separate from cost.

Who: Experienced and emerging artists willing to travel to Dana Point.
