Reports to: Tory Benoit, Associate Director, External Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Use Handshake platform for all careers related communications, posts and schedules
- Schedule and hold meetings with current students and program alumni to establish career goals, prospects, interests, and capacities
- Schedule and conduct interview prep workshops
- Edit student and alumni resumes and cover letters
- Assist in organization of careers events (meet and greets, conversations, etc.) with industry professionals
- Develop strategies for online searchable “resume book” for distribution and employer access
- Liaise and coordinate programs and services with Sotheby’s Institute of Art career services offices in New York and London, and with Drucker School Career Development Office
Requirements:
- Customer service and HR background highly desirable
- Background and experience in the arts (visual or performing) essential
- Familiarity with Los Angeles arts and cultural institutions
