Term: February 1 - April 30: 20hrs max./week
Fee: $25/hr
Location: 1017 N. Dartmouth, Claremont CA
Reports to: Tory Benoit, Associate Director, External Affairs

Responsibilities:

  1. Use Handshake platform for all careers related communications, posts and schedules
  2. Schedule and hold meetings with current students and program alumni to establish career goals, prospects, interests, and capacities
  3. Schedule and conduct interview prep workshops
  4. Edit student and alumni resumes and cover letters
  5. Assist in organization of careers events (meet and greets, conversations, etc.) with industry professionals
  6. Develop strategies for online searchable “resume book” for distribution and employer access
  7. Liaise and coordinate programs and services with Sotheby’s Institute of Art career services offices in New York and London, and with Drucker School Career Development Office

Requirements:

  • Customer service and HR background highly desirable
  • Background and experience in the arts (visual or performing) essential
  • Familiarity with Los Angeles arts and cultural institutions
