The Los Angeles Unified School District’s Redistricting Commission invites parents, partners, students and community members to participate in a Board District 6 Redistricting Community Outreach Meeting on Wednesday, February 8th, at Panorama High School. Stakeholders can learn about and influence the redistricting process and its impact on neighborhood schools.

As the Advocacy Manager of Arts for LA, I am tasked with reaching out to grassroots stakeholders, connecting with local leadership, establishing networks of arts advocates and creating a plan of action to increase support for and access to the arts. This year, we are taking the team initiative to seven additional communities. Here is an update on that process.
Achieving Equitable Arts Education:
A Series of Community Discussions and Workshops
Communities across LA County are working collaboratively to ensure that all students have access to the arts. Join us to develop our shared vision for arts education in your community, discuss current efforts, learn effective advocacy strategies, and develop a community plan to increase access to the arts.
Parent, artists, educators and other stakeholders interested in supporting and promoting arts education are invited to attend.
