The Chair of California's Joint Committee on the Arts, Senator Curren D. Price, Jr, has released the following statement regarding Steve Jobs' passing:  “As we celebrate the 11th Annual California Arts Day this Friday, I invite you to celebrate the legacy of a truly inspiring man, Steve Jobs.

The California legislature's Joint Committee on the Arts, chaired by Senator Curren D. Price, will convene an Informational Hearing to examine "The Ongoing Threat of Piracy and Counterfeiting to California’s Economy" at Paramount Pictures (Sherry Lansing Theatre), 5555 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, this Friday, June 24^th from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
