Danielle BrazellArts for LA is pleased to announce Executive Director Danielle Brazell has been nominated by Mayor Eric Garcetti to serve as the new general manager of the Cultural Affairs Department of the City of Los Angeles. Her work with the department will begin pending confirmation by the Los Angeles City Council.

DCA logoOn April 30, Arts for LA’s Executive Director Danielle Brazell issued a letter to the Honorable Mr. Paul Krekorian, chair of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Los Angeles City Council.  The full text of the letter follows.  Arts for LA will continue to monitor the city's budget process and update our advocates on its status whenever possible.

The Los Angeles City Council moved one step closer to passing an official resolution in support of AB 580, the California Assembly bill that would fund the California Arts Council with $75 million dollars for the next fiscal year.
