On Wednesday, Arts for LA sent a statement to Councilmember Paul Krekorian expressing support for Mayor Villaraigosa's proposed budget for the next fiscal year, which runs July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced last week the establishment of an official Poet Laureate program for the City of Los Angeles.
