The Petersen Automotive Museum currently has an opening for a full-time Curatorial Assistant in the Curatorial-Collections Department. The successful candidate will assist with documenting, researching, preserving, and handling museum collections and will assist with the installation and de-installation of temporary and permanent exhibits. Responsibilities also include participation in education and public outreach programs, and preparation of didactic text panels and providing administrative support to the Curatorial Department. 

Candidates must possess a college degree, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a broad understanding of automotive history.  Experience with museum collections is preferred.
