The City of Santa Clarita is seeking artwork for consideration for an upcoming exhibit at First Floor Gallery. The exhibit “Follow Your Art” will showcase the artistic use of a physical map in the artwork. Artworks MUST have some form of a physical map, we encourage you to go out and buy a map and get creative! (Look up examples for inspiration.) Applicants may submit artworks in the medium of their choosing as long as it is WIRED. The City of Santa Clarita utilizes a special wiring system that requires all works to be brought WIRED in order to safely hang. This includes but is not limited to paintings, drawings, printmaking, photography, and textiles.
Mailing artwork will NOT be accepted. Please understand that artwork must be physically dropped off on the agreed upon date. This call is open to LA County, surrounding areas, and those willing to drop off.

If your artwork exceeds 25 pounds in weight, please do not submit them for consideration.

If the artwork you are submitting has been shown in First Floor Gallery in the last two years, it will not be considered.
