Earth, Air, Fire, Water

An Environmental Exhibition

14-29, 2015

“Earth, Air, Fire,

Water” is the theme of the 2015 Exhibition and Art Fair on view from March

14-29, 2015, at McGroarty Arts Center.

We are seeking

works that address environmental concerns, reflect personal experiences in

nature, or explore earth, air, fire or water as artistic elements. Works

can be abstract or representational, contemporary or traditional.

This annual

exhibition offers a special opportunity for artists in the Foothill communities

and greater Los Angeles area to exhibit and sell artwork in curated gallery

spaces. Artists working in two dimensional (low relief) media, such as

painting, drawing, photography and fiber or small three dimensional works are

encouraged to enter. All submitted artworks must be for sale.

McGroarty will host

a concurrent one day Art Fair on Saturday, March 21st from 11am-3

pm. Art Fair vendors can sell their wares in booths outside McGroarty Arts

Center. The Sunland-Tujunga-Shadow Hills-Lake View Terrace Rotary will provide

food for purchase. Artists may submit applications for both the Art Exhibitions and the Art Fair. Participating in the Art

Fair day requires the completion of a separate application and payment of entry

fees. Watch the website for added details.

January 12, 2015

is the date that all Earth, Air, Fire, Water application materials and fees

must be received by the Center by 5pm.

The exhibition is

open to living Los Angeles area residents at least 18 years of age.
