The California Art Club seeks a professional and detail-oriented individual for the Director of Donor Relations position in our Pasadena headquarters. The Director of Donor Relations manages and cultivates high-level relationships in three key areas – Collectors’ Circle (an exclusive category of membership for art patrons); Signature Artist Membership (comprised of national renowned artists); and Corporate and Foundation Funders.  In addition, this individual creates opportunities that promote the highest standard of traditional fine art, increases membership and generates financial support for this century-old arts organization. The Director of Donor Relations provides professional support in grant writing, proposal development and administration. This is currently a part-time (25 hours per week) opportunity.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent writing and communication skills. She/He must be self-motivated, organized and creative with a deep interest in promoting traditional fine art. A bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree a plus, preferably in Arts Management or combined degrees in Art History and Business Management.
