Job purpose

Working closely with Development department and Donor Lounge Coordinator, the Donor Lounge Associate is responsible for setting up, preparing and serving the VIP guests and various subscribers before the show and during intermission, as well as clean up.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Set-up of the Pasadena Playhouse's donor lounge to accommodate our patrons 
  • Take inventory of product at the start of shift and at the end
  • Display snacks and drinks in an appealing manner
  • Engage in conversation with patrons and VIP guest
  • Help foster a sense of community, as the liaison between the Playhouse and subscribers
  • Reviews and analyzes the amount of product used
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications include:

Education & Work Experience:

  • One to three years onward in a customer service / guest services role or equal training.
  • 21+ years of age for pouring wine

Physical requirements Working conditions

  • Able to lift 25lbs
  • Able to stand on feet for 2 hours at a time
  • Able to pour beverages (both wine, soda, and coffee)

Application Process

Compensation is $10/hour (no benefits). Start date is immediate upon hire. Hours are on-call and in line with Playhouse shows.
