Drafter, Los Angeles Guild
Guild, a growing design + build studio in Los Angeles, specializing in dynamic and eclectic brand environments, is seeking a temporary Drafter to join our team. Guild is a collection of artists, designers, architects, producers, carpenters, welders, signmakers and painters who put their heads and hands together to create unique marketing events and launches, retail stores, mobile tours, and any experience that bridges brand and consumer.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone to help the myriad moving parts operate in sync. The ideal candidate must have 2+ years experience as a drafter with the following skills:
- Must be masterful and adept in Rhino, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience in theater, event, exhibition and retail fabrication.
- Manage workflow and meet scheduled due dates.
- Experience working with licensed engineers to produce drawings for permitting is a plus.
- Hands on experience of build materials, hardware, finishes and fabrication techniques.
- Flexibility in work schedule that allows for occasional weekend and overnight shifts.
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
