Professional Los Angeles based architectural model shop seeks qualified fabricators for immediate full time employment.
Our business specializes in the fabrication of architectural, topographical and litigation models and prototyping for presentation and show.
We are looking for individuals possessing an understanding of architectural model making, model making, detailed sculpting and 3D modeling using Rhino5 and AutoCAD 2014.
Position requires, but is not limited to:
-strong attention to detail and organization
-intuitive understanding and ability to work on small scale projects with precision
-experience painting, sculpting, and woodworking
-ability to lift up to 50lbs
-a background in art/architecture
-comfortable safely using power tools including: drills, table saw, grinder, sanders, router and bandsaw
-capable of working successfully with others
We fabricate with a variety of materials; acrylics, wood, micro plys, injection molds and RPed parts. Experience working with plastic and wood fabrication is preferred but we would be willing to train the right person.
Our business is very detail oriented and time consuming. Looking for individuals interested in making a long term commitment of employment with the patience and a desire to learn all needed skill sets necessary for this position.
Full time, immediate hire. Compensation based on experience, speed and accuracy.
