We're excited to announce that we are once again looking for an additional team member for the Hollywood Fringe staff. We are now seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to serve as Grant Writer & Foundation Coordinator.
Duties include:
- Assisting Director of Development in meeting financial goals set for the Department.
- Researching prospects for foundation, corporate, and government grants.
- Leading and coordinating the researching, developing, writing, packaging and submitting of grant proposals.
- Effectively performing all mechanical aspects of grant development and submission.
- Leading grant/data research activities.
- Identifying statistical, analytical and anecdotal data for use in proposals and assisting team with using this information in the most effective and compelling ways.
- Working as a team with the leadership staff and program staff in preparing grants and proposals.
- Coordinating submission of proposals for a broad range of social and educational programs and healthcare services offered, including communication with funders, convening program development meetings, conducting research and analyzing data.
- Drafting proposals for review and approval by Director of Development and senior staff.
- Working with the Development team to track grants, including sending follow-up and final reports and generating acknowledgement for grants received from institutional contributors as well as other grant reports.
- Preparing reports to comply with grant requirements, making sure they are submitted in a timely manner and appropriate to each grant.
- Monitoring paperwork connected with grant-funded programs.
- Working with the board members, staff, and volunteers to identify relationships and follow-up on potential funders.
Qualified candidates should have prior experience with grant writing (or similar skills), excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
