Photography – Studio Internship

Contemporary artists is currently seeking a motivated and organized photography studio intern for the fall semester. This is a learning internship where collaboration and your voice are encouraged. You will be working directly with the artist making prints from her most recent body of work, which is currently exhibited at the Liverpool Biennial.
Applicants must be experienced and knowledgeable with Photoshop and have fluent experience using an Epson Inkjet printer and color correcting. Additionally, we are searching for an intern who has ample experience scanning and organizing 35mm and 4x5 film. Familiarity with using a 4x5 camera is preferred. Technical trouble-shooting and digital organizational skills are a must.
Two six-hour days per week are required (with consideration during midterms and finals). It is also preferable for interns to bring a laptop to work from. This is an unpaid internship, however, your school could give credit. Lunch is provided, as is reimbursement for gas for studio errands.
