Marketing & Design Fellowship
Fellowship Program:
San Diego Repertory Theatre’s (The REP) professional fellowships are season-long, full-time commitments lasting approximately 10 months.  The fellow will be encouraged to build skills toward career goals, while gaining practical professional experience from the program. Our goal is to develop talented theatre professionals that will serve the art from for years to come.  

Job Description:

The Marketing Fellowship Program was developed to give early career employees an opportunity to learn on the job, while assisting our diverse team on on-going marketing and public relations projects.  They will work directly with the Director of Marketing and communications to support on execution and reporting of various marketing efforts.  They will also support the Partnerships Manager to cultivate relationships and staff, or participate in evening or weekend audience/donor events. This job is an ideal early careers position for those seeking to build skills and job experience for an arts management or arts marketing career.

Duties Include:
- Manage daily and weekly sales reporting
- Manage Marketing Budget tracking system
- Manage project calendar ongoing show materials (examples: publication ads, brochures, flyers, e-blasts)
- Support grant-writing efforts by designing supporting materials to be sent with applications
- Assist in the management and updating website or social media content
- Attend and assist special events; represent San Diego REPertory Theatre to audience members and guests
- Pulling data form The REP’s CRM (Tessitura) for mailings and other outreach efforts (Note: Prior Tessitura experience is not required)
- Administration and office tasks as required by the marketing team
- Staffing some weekend and weeknight events
We are seeking an energetic individual with an excellent eye for detail; exceptional organization, an interest in nonprofit and marketing managemnt; and a passion the art of theatre.

…has some college and/or applicable work experience

…is computer proficient (Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms. Web and Video a bonus)
…available for flexible hours and with reliable transportation
…routinely assists in the moving of chairs and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds for various event and set-up needs.
The Design Fellow will work a flexible schedule up to 40 hours a week, for an hourly rate of $10 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation as accrued, and opportunity to purchase group dental and vision insurance. The Fellowship is designed to be completed in ten months from start date.
