Native Arts and Cultures Foundation Announces New Fellowship for Native Hawaiian Artists
Native Arts and Cultures Foundation

The Native Arts and Cultures Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian arts and cultures nationwide. To date, the foundation has awarded more than $1.6 million to eighty-nine Native artists and organizations in twenty-six states.

With support from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs and the Leonard and Rose Freeman Family Fund of the Hawai’i Community Foundation, NACF has announced new a fellowship designed specifically for Native Hawaiian artists. Through the program, grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to Native Hawaiian artists working in the fields of dance, music,  traditional, or the visual arts.

To be eligible, applicant must be able to supply documentation of Native Hawaiian ancestry.
