Kopeikin Gallery has been open in Los Angeles for over 24 years and has a stellar reputation internationally. We are looking for a part-time intern to assist with the daily operation of the gallery. The internship will last for the duration of the spring semester, during which time the candidate will learn all aspects of running a small gallery as they are assisting the owner and gallery manager. Responsibilities will include art handling, artist and client correspondence, social media management, upkeep of the extensive Library and light cleaning and Gallery prep work such as painting the walls, adjusting lights and hanging artwork.

Prospective candidates must be a current student at an accredited university of at least sophomore standing, majoring in an art related field. Candidates must be mac-savvy and have basic competency in Microsoft office, Adobe Suite. Reliable transportation, punctuality, common sense, good grooming, a healthy outlook on life and a good sense of humor are a must.

Compensation & hours
This position will be compensated with academic credit as well as lunch and gas. Candidate must be available to work 1-3 full days a week at the gallery starting shortly after the New Year.
