Research – Studio Internship

Contemporary artist is currently seeking a motivated and organized research intern for the summer, beginning ASAP in May 2015. This is a learning internship where collaboration and your voice are encouraged. You will be working directly with the artist, compiling research for upcoming fieldwork, photography and film production, exhibition and publication. You will also be working to update and maintain the studio archive and inventory and assisting with studio operations. Applicants must be proficient writers, and organizational skills are a must.
The studio environment is lively and collaborative. Interns are often working together, and special projects are designated depending on your strengths and interests.
This is an unpaid internship, however, we do offer school-credit. At least two six-hour days per week are required. It is also preferable for interns to bring a laptop to work from throughout the day. Lunch is provided, as is reimbursement for gas for studio errands.
