Professional Los Angeles based architectural model shop seeks qualified Rhino5/AutoCAD operator for immediate full time employment.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-cleaning/editing architectural building files
-adjusting files for scale on a project to project basis
-creating part kits
-generating cut files for part production for machining
Job requirements:
-PROFICIENCY in Rhino5/AutoCAD 2014
-BArch or higher, or equivalent working experience preferred
-a background and understanding of architectural principals
-a knowledge of 3D modeling
-experience preparing files for machining
-familiarity with industrial lasers, CNC mills and routers
-excellent organization and communication skills
-extremely detail oriented
-time management under fast paced deadlines
Fabrication skills a plus but not mandatory. Compensation based on experience, speed and accuracy.
