Volunteers are needed on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, 4718 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016.

Two Shifts are available

MORNING                7:00 am - 1:00 pm

AFTERNOON         1:00 pm – 6:00 pm 

 We need assistance with:

  • Set up & clean up – tables, tablecloths, chairs, food/ drinks, signage, decor
  • Greeting & registration
  • Ushering attendees & manage capacity in each room
  • Technology – Setup Powerpoint presentations, microphone/ speakers

 About LA Convergence

Attendees will listen to presenters and engage in dialogue on themes such as creative placemaking, land use, & gentrification. Economic impact, audience engagement, creative industry, jobs. Educational equity, racial justice. Transportation, geographical enclaves, access to transit, access to arts experiences. Audience development, community engagement, arts education, organizational values in action. Food justice, arts and healing, community wellness, violence prevention, public health.
