Established contemporary art gallery seeks Social Media Intern to collaborate on our content strategy, help expand our interactivity online, and architect compelling campaigns to promote our artists and exhibition program.

Ideal candidate has an enthusiasm for contemporary art, is a talented communicator, and understands the digital and social media universe through active participation.


  •  Seek creative solutions for developing fresh content on our various platforms (Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), working closely with the Communications Coordinator
  • Engage users on Social Media, monitoring feeds for influencers and mentions, and engage where appropriate
  • Provide social performance recaps for various initiatives, including campaign/initiative-specific summaries and analytic reports
  • Research new areas of engagement and content, including scoping out programs, apps and networks; identifying social media influencers in the art world, fashion and media; delving into    galleryarchives to curate new editorial campaigns
  • Lead special projects


  •  Strong writing, communication and research skills
  • Knowledge of art and gallery practices ideal
  • Able to collaborate and also work independently on defined projects
  • Mac and tech savvy
