Long Beach Opera is gearing up for the closing of our 2015 Season - Desire, Passion, and Corruption and is currently looking for volunteers for our upcoming performances of Hydrogen Jukeboxat at Crafted in the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. As always, volunteers have the opportunity to watch the performance for free! Read more about the opera here.
The volunteer roles we must fill include: usher, ticket taker, will call helper, and parking lot attendant for the following dates and times:
Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 6PM to 9:30PM (opening night, performance starts at 8PM)
Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 12:30PM to 4PM (performance starts at 2:30PM)
Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 6PM to 9:30PM (performance starts at 8PM)
Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 5PM to 8:30PM (performance starts at 7PM)
LBO is also looking for VIP Reception Assistants for an hour reception after each performance:
Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 9:30PM to 11PM (opening night, performance starts at 8PM)
Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 4PM to 5:30PM (performance starts at 2:30PM)
Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 9:30PM to 11PM (performance starts at 8PM)
Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 8:30PM to 10PM (performance starts at 7PM)
Volunteers are asked to check in at least ten minutes prior to the volunteer start time so LBO staff can give you your badges and sign you in. Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable shoes and all black (if possible). There will be a brief training with Miriam Nuckols, Development Associate and the Front of House Manager before the patrons arrive to ensure that everything goes very smoothly.
