POSITION TITLE: Institutional Advancement Assistant
REPORTS TO: Deputy Director of Institutional Advancement
WORK SCHEDULE: Full time/40 hours a week – Monday to Friday

POSITION SUMMARY
Center Theatre Group seeks a poised, organized individual to join the company’s Institutional Advancement team as an Institutional Advancement Assistant. The position reports to the Deputy Director of Advancement and is part of a team that is responsible for raising $15 million annually, including a Capital Campaign.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phones, schedule meetings, draft correspondence, and provide other administrative support for the Deputy Director of Advancement
- Provide administrative support as needed for the Advancement Operations Director
- Serve as backup to the Executive Assistant to the Director of Institutional Advancement
- Track department budgets and revenue with the Operations team
- Reconcile department credit card and manage monthly expense reports and receipts
- Assist with stewardship and ticket requests for major donors
- Create donor research profiles and briefings for senior staff
- Coordinate department-wide meetings and activities
- Attend and work special events throughout the season
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of college from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work history required. Two years or more of administrative support experience required; experience in fundraising and theatre arts a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database systems such as Tessitura. Strong writing and organizational skills as well as a keen attention to detail are essential. Available to work occasional overtime as need. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, dependable, and have a great sense of humor.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
